| Estancia
Harberton Navigation |
| This
beach is 20 km away from Puerto Madryn. Every year, mother whales
and their breeding get here looking for peaceful waters and because
of the coast slope, they can stay at 20 or 30 metres from them.
Thus, we can watch them from land. It works the same way than June
to November sighting |

| Excursion
to Fagnano Lake – Off Road |
Departing
from Ushuaia, we will take National Route Nr 3 northwards (about
60 km), where we will be able to enjoy the landscape of Carabajal
and Tierra Mayor Valleys, up to Paso Garibaldi, a panoramic spot
where we can have an impressive view of Escondido and Fagnano Lakes.
We will go on to Asserradero Bronzovich, to take a complementary
route which, some kilometres ahead turns to paths of difficult access.
We will finally arrive at the coast of Fagnano Lake. From there
on, we will go along the Lake’s coast for about 10 km (off
road); fording it in some stretches and going along narrow paths
in the woods in others. We will go on by skirting Bombilla Lagoon,
to get back into the woods, and by taking a secondary road, we will
find National Route Nr 3 again, and will return to Ushuaia. The
whole “safari” takes about 8 or 9 hours, considered
to be of low difficulty. |
